we always supply this futon frame with a comfortable, suitable bifold futon mattress, we never would offer a thinner trifold mattress on this frame, Sadly this what some of the bigger internet companies and chain are doing, a trifold on this frame would be uncomfortable.

Easy Converting Bi Fold Futon Frames

Here is a link to a short video that shows the easy conversion of a bifold, 3 seat futon frame, all our hardwood futon frames convert this way, it only takes a few seconds and this type of frame is always the best choice as long as you have a large enough room, dimensions are at the bottom of each product page, just add a bit at one side because while sofa to bed conversion is from the front, you need to stand at the side when converting from a bed to a sofa.http://www.futons-direct.co.uk/futon-products/futon-sofa-beds/cavendish-bifold-oak.php
